Identified - MTSS Student Plans - State Admin Role Update
We have an update regarding the MTSS Student Plans - State Admin role. Previously we communicated that this role is NOT valid role and if selected this role would not result in any access.
ALSDE has approved the removal of the MTSS Student Plans - State Admin role within the Role properties selector. Any Roles that had this selected will have it removed, and the option itself is being removed. Testing is completed and we will be completing this work in production shortly. We will let you know when this update is completed.

Update - The team is investigating multiple issues with MTSS roles and access permissions.
1. Currently 16 districts are not seeing the new MTSS Student Plan roles in their SIS. The districts impacted include: Alabama Department of Youth Services, Geneva City Schools, Geneva County Schools, Greene County Schools, Gulf Shores City Schools, Guntersville City Schools, Hale County Schools, Haleyville City Schools, Hartselle City Schools, Henry County Schools, Homewood City Schools, Hoover City Schools, Houston County Schools, J.F. Ingram State Technical College, Floretta P. Carson Visual and Performing Arts Academy, Freedom Preparatory Academy.
This issue is now Resolved. All 16 Districts now have the new roles available in SIS.
2. The new MTSS Student Plan roles will take effect in the dashboard starting today for those districts who have the roles available in the SIS and are using them to assign access.
a. Note1: If a user has both a role assigned in the SIS and a role assigned previously that are different from one another, the user will granted access based on the role with greater access.
b. Note2: Once all districts have the additional roles we will communicate a target date to solely use the SIS roles.
c. Note3: The MTSS Student Plans - State Admin role is NOT valid role. If selected this role will not result in any access.
3. We are continuing to investigate multiple issues that have been reported regarding MTSS Interventions access for teachers. We are reaching out to the individual districts and will provide updates as we have them via the support tickets.
